This is a combination of three photos taken from a conference room overlooking the World Trade Center site. While I had several pictures looking at the construction site, I had very few just showing the buildings and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, taking pictures through double panes of glass softens the picture a bit. The biggest problem was reflections from ceiling lights behind me. I have to give a great deal of credit to Adobe Photoshop’s Content Aware Fill feature. I was able to remove most of the reflections without the edits being too noticeable.
Two of my artistic interests are photography and art. Now, I find that I can combine these interests by creating artistic creations from photos. I created this site to display my photos and photo art.
I use several programs and Photoshop plug-ins to manipulate the photos. Some of the artwork here was created for a group on Yahoo called DigitalNuts. A new set of photos is posted to their Weekly Nutcracker each Wednesday and the members post their artwork created from those photos. I've learned a lot from that group and highly recommend it if you are interested in creating art from photos.
