In fact, I'm probably getting around 115 total now. I recently switched to only looking at the % total on the computer display and find it more helpful then freaking about miles ticking away. No matter the fuel source, less distance is better for the planet. This is like a new health-conscious dieter counting calories for the first time. It's the first step in managing an unhealthy habit - quantifying it. I'm not being preachy here - I'm in CA, and statistically Californians drive WAY more miles than East Coasters - historically, distance didn't matter so we built EVERYTHING so far apart. Now we have to think about it. You know, you raise an interesting sociological issue, and perhaps an unintended side-benefit of e-vehicles – we HAVE to be conscious of how far we drive.
